استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، صباح اليوم الجمعة الموافق 6 نوفمبر 2026، بمطار معيتيقة الدولي، معالي السيد عبد القادر حسين عمر، وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي بجمهورية جيبوتي، الذي وصل إلى طرابلس للمشاركة في أعمال الدورة العادية الثانية والعشرين للمجلس التنفيذي لتجمع دول الساحل والصحراء (س.ص).
وتندرج هذه الزيارة في سياق مشاركة جمهورية جيبوتي في اجتماعات التجمع، وتجديد التزامها بدعم مسارات التعاون والتنسيق بين الدول الأعضاء، وتعزيز العمل المشترك إزاء القضايا والتحديات التي تواجه منطقة الساحل والصحراء.
كما تعكس المشاركة أهمية هذا الاستحقاق الإفريقي في توسيع مجالات التشاور وتبادل الرؤى، ودفع جهود التكامل والتضامن بين الدول الأعضاء، بما يعزز فرص تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية المستدامة في المنطقة.
H.E. Mr. Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received on the morning of Friday, 6 November 2026, at Mitiga International Airport, H.E. Mr. Abdoulkader Hussein Omar, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti, who arrived in Tripoli to participate in the 22nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).
The visit comes within the framework of the Republic of Djibouti’s participation in the Community’s meetings and its renewed commitment to supporting cooperation and coordination among member states, as well as strengthening joint efforts to address the issues and challenges facing the Sahel-Saharan region.
The participation also highlights the importance of this African event in broadening avenues for consultation and the exchange of views, and advancing efforts towards integration and solidarity among member states, thereby enhancing prospects for achieving security, stability and sustainable development across the region.
