عقد معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الجمعة الموافق 6 نوفمبر 2026، اجتماعاً ثنائياً مع معالي السيدة سيلفي بايبو تيمون، وزيرة الشؤون الخارجية والفرنكوفونية ومواطني أفريقيا الوسطى بالخارج، بجمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى، التي وصلت إلى العاصمة طرابلس صباح اليوم، للمشاركة في أعمال الدورة العادية الثانية والعشرين للمجلس التنفيذي لتجمع دول الساحل والصحراء (س.ص).
وتناول الاجتماع بحث علاقات التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين، وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات، إلى جانب تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، والتنسيق حيال الموضوعات المطروحة على جدول أعمال التجمع.
ويأتي هذا الاجتماع في إطار مشاركة جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى في أعمال الدورة، التي تستضيفها ليبيا، بما يعكس حرص البلدين على تعزيز التشاور والتنسيق المشترك، ودعم مسيرة العمل الإفريقي المشترك، وتطوير آليات عمل التجمع بما يسهم في تحقيق أهدافه الرامية إلى دعم الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية في منطقة الساحل والصحراء.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting today, Friday, 6 November 2026, with H.E. Ms. Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francophonie and Central Africans Abroad of the Central African Republic, who arrived in the capital, Tripoli, this morning to participate in the proceedings of the 22nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and further develop cooperation across various fields. The two sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and coordination on matters on the agenda of the Community.
The meeting comes within the framework of the Central African Republic’s participation in the session, hosted by Libya, reflecting both countries’ commitment to strengthening consultation and joint coordination, supporting African cooperation, and advancing the Community’s working mechanisms in pursuit of its objectives of promoting security, stability, and development across the Sahel-Saharan region.
