استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الجمعة الموافق 6 نوفمبر 2026، بمطار معيتيقة الدولي، معالي السيد محمد علي النفطي، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والهجرة والتونسيين بالخارج بالجمهورية التونسية، لدى وصوله إلى العاصمة طرابلس، للمشاركة في أعمال الدورة العادية الثانية والعشرين للمجلس التنفيذي لتجمع دول الساحل والصحراء (س.ص).
وتأتي زيارة الوزير التونسي تأكيداً لاهتمام الجمهورية التونسية بالمشاركة الفاعلة في أنشطة التجمع، ودعم جهوده الرامية إلى تعزيز التنسيق والتشاور بين الدول الأعضاء، وتطوير مجالات التعاون بما يستجيب لمتطلبات المرحلة والتحديات التي تشهدها المنطقة.
ومن المنتظر أن تشكل أعمال هذه الدورة فرصة لتبادل وجهات النظر بشأن القضايا الإقليمية والإفريقية، وبحث سبل الارتقاء بأداء التجمع وتعزيز دوره في ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار ودفع مسارات التنمية والتكامل بين دوله الأعضاء.
H.E. Mr. Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today, Friday, 6 November 2026, at Mitiga International Airport, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia, upon his arrival in the capital, Tripoli, to participate in the 22nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).
The Tunisian Minister’s visit underscores the Republic of Tunisia’s commitment to active participation in the Community’s activities and support for its efforts to strengthen coordination and consultation among member states, as well as to expand areas of cooperation in response to the demands of the current stage and the challenges facing the region.
The session is also expected to provide an opportunity to exchange views on regional and African issues and explore ways to enhance the Community’s performance and strengthen its role in consolidating security and stability, while advancing development and integration among its member states.
