في لقاء يعكس حرص البلدين على مواصلة التنسيق وتعزيز مسارات التعاون الثنائي، عقد معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اجتماعاً ثنائياً مع معالي الدكتور بدر عبد العاطي، وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي والمصريين بالخارج بجمهورية مصر العربية، اليوم السبت الموافق 7 نوفمبر 2026، وذلك على هامش أعمال الدورة العادية الثانية والعشرين للمجلس التنفيذي لتجمع دول الساحل والصحراء (س.ص)، المنعقدة بالعاصمة طرابلس.
وتناول الاجتماع سبل الارتقاء بالعلاقات الليبية المصرية، والبناء على ما يجمع البلدين من روابط تاريخية ومصالح استراتيجية، مع التأكيد على أهمية توسيع مجالات التعاون والتنسيق في الملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر بشأن مستجدات الأوضاع في المنطقة، والقضايا الإقليمية والأفريقية، مؤكدين أهمية استمرار التشاور وتكثيف الجهود المشتركة بما يدعم الأمن والاستقرار، ويحفظ المصالح المشتركة للبلدين.
وشدد اللقاء على أهمية مواصلة التواصل بين وزارتي الخارجية، وتعزيز آليات التعاون والتنسيق بما يرتقي بالعلاقات الثنائية إلى مستويات أوسع من الشراكة والتكامل.
In a meeting reflecting both countries’ commitment to continued coordination and strengthening bilateral cooperation, H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting today, Saturday, 7 November 2026, with H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 22nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), held in the capital, Tripoli.
The meeting addressed ways to advance Libyan-Egyptian relations and build on the historical ties and strategic interests shared by the two countries, while emphasizing the importance of expanding areas of cooperation and coordination on matters of mutual interest.
The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and regional and African issues, stressing the importance of continued consultation and intensified joint efforts to support security and stability and safeguard the shared interests of both countries.
The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining communication between the two foreign ministries and strengthening cooperation and coordination mechanisms, with a view to elevating bilateral relations to broader levels of partnership and integration.
