في إطار اللقاءات الثنائية على هامش أعمال الدورة الثانية والخمسين لمجلس وزراء خارجية الدول الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، المنعقدة بالعاصمة العراقية بغداد، اجتمع معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الأحد 18 أكتوبر 2026، مع معالي السيد محمد علي النفطي، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والهجرة والتونسيين بالخارج بالجمهورية التونسية.
شكل اللقاء فرصة لبحث آفاق تطوير العلاقات الليبية التونسية، واستكشاف سبل توسيع مجالات التعاون بما يحقق تطلعات البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، فضلا عن مناقشة بعض القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وفي ختام اللقاء، شدد الجانبان على ضرورة مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق وتكثيف التواصل بين البلدين، بما يدعم الجهود المشتركة تجاه القضايا المطروحة، ويعزز مسارات العمل العربي والإسلامي المشترك، ويسهم في ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
As part of the bilateral meetings held on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), taking place in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met on Sunday, 18 October 2026, with H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss prospects for developing Libyan-Tunisian relations and explore ways to broaden areas of cooperation in a manner that fulfils the aspirations of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. The two sides also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of continuing consultation and coordination and intensifying communication between the two countries to support joint efforts on issues under discussion, strengthen joint Arab and Islamic action, and contribute to consolidating security and stability in the region.
