H.E. Mr. Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met on Friday, 6 November 2026, at Mitiga International Airport, with H.E. Ambassador Muawiya Othman Khalid, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sudan, upon his arrival in the capital, Tripoli, to represent his country at the 22nd Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD).<\/p>\n

The meeting took place as part of the reception of official delegations participating in the session, hosted by Libya, and reflects the commitment to strengthening communication and coordination with member states, as well as underscoring the importance of joint African action and developing cooperation mechanisms among the Community\u2019s member states in support of security, stability and development in the region.<\/p>\n

This participation reaffirms the Republic of Sudan\u2019s interest in strengthening its presence and contribution to the Community\u2019s activities and supporting its efforts to consolidate cooperation and integration among the countries of the Sahel and Sahara.<\/p>\n
