Saturday, October 17, 2026, with His Excellency Mr. Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the sidelines of the 52nd Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, in the presence of Dr. Munir Abu Grein, Charg\u00e9 d\u2019Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Libya to the Republic of Iraq.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The two sides discussed the latest regional developments and the challenges facing the region, as well as their implications for security and stability. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Mr. El-Baour emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving crises, in accordance with the principles of international law and respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">He also expressed Libya\u2019s readiness to contribute to efforts aimed at finding peaceful solutions to crises in the region and to put forward proposals that would help promote security and stability.<a
