Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a meeting on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, with Dr. Ahmed Al-Hudairi and Mr. Essam Zawiya, representatives of the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Department at the Prime Minister\u2019s Office. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashhab, Adviser at the Minister\u2019s Office, and Mr. Mohammed Burawi, Director of the Ministry\u2019s Strategic Planning Office.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The meeting discussed the key pillars of the Ministry\u2019s 2027 strategy, diplomatic priorities, strengthening Libya\u2019s international presence, and preparations for its candidacy for non-permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council for the 2028\u20132029 term. Discussions also covered investment promotion, improving the performance of diplomatic missions, and enhancing economic and cultural cooperation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The meeting further addressed administrative and personnel matters, as well as planning and monitoring mechanisms.
