headquarters on the morning of Sunday, 2 August 2026, Mr. Arvid Andres, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, following his assumption of duties as his country&#8217;s new Ambassador to the State of Libya.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The meeting addressed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and explored ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields of mutual interest, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and further reinforces the partnership between them.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest political developments in Libya, as well as the national and international efforts aimed at advancing the political process. They also consulted on the initiatives under consideration and exchanged views on them, reaffirming the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination in support of stability in the country.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The two sides further exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of continued coordination and consultation in a manner that contributes to promoting stability and strengthening bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a
