The meeting discussed prospects for advancing bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Republic of the Congo, as well as ways to enhance cooperation across various fields of mutual interest, with a view to strengthening the partnership between the two countries and serving the shared interests of their peoples.<\/p>\n
The two sides also reviewed a number of issues on the African Union agenda and exchanged views on recent developments across the African continent. They underscored the importance of strengthening consultation and coordination among Member States to address common challenges and support efforts aimed at promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development.<\/p>\n
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing cooperation within African multilateral frameworks and to working jointly to advance continental integration and enhance the role of the African Union in addressing priority issues in a manner that meets the aspirations of African peoples for development and prosperity.<\/p>\n
