His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today, Tuesday, 21 July 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Guy Cornel Samba, Ambassador of the Republic of the Congo Brazzaville to the State of Libya, in the presence of Mr. Alaaeddin Al-Tajouri, Director of the African Affairs Department.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Republic of the Congo-Brazzaville and discussed ways to strengthen and expand cooperation across various fields.<\/p>\n

The discussions also addressed the Republic of the Congo’s role in supporting efforts to consolidate and enhance the stability currently witnessed in Libya, as well as its support for the national reconciliation process in a manner that preserves the country’s sovereignty and unity, reinforces the will of the Libyan people, and fulfills their aspirations.<\/p>\n

The two sides agreed on the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries in support of joint African action and efforts aimed at promoting peace and security across the African continent.<\/p>\n
