Mr. G\u00fcven Bege\u00e7, Ambassador of the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye to the State of Libya, and the accompanying delegation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At the outset of the meeting, Mr. El-Baour welcomed the Turkish delegation, praising the deep-rooted historical ties and bonds of friendship and cooperation between the State of Libya and the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye, as well as the notable progress achieved in bilateral relations across various political, economic, and cultural fields.<\/p>\n

The two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand the horizons of partnership between the two countries in a manner that serves the mutual interests of their friendly peoples. They also emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation on issues of common concern.<\/p>\n

The meeting further reviewed the ongoing preparations for Libya\u2019s hosting of the upcoming Africa\u2013T\u00fcrkiye Summit. The two sides examined the organizational and substantive arrangements related to the Summit, underscoring its importance in strengthening the strategic partnership between T\u00fcrkiye and African countries and promoting cooperation in the fields of development, economy, and investment. In this regard, both sides agreed to intensify joint efforts and coordination to ensure the success of the Summit and the achievement of its intended objectives.<\/p>\n
