The meeting addressed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and to develop prospects for cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

During the meeting, the two sides also discussed developments in the region, particularly in light of the political and security challenges facing some countries. They exchanged views on the importance of supporting paths toward stability and enhancing joint coordination in a way that serves the interests of both countries and contributes to regional security.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mr. El-Baour emphasized during the meeting the depth of the historical ties between Libya and Sudan, stressing the importance of activating bilateral cooperation channels, especially in economic and developmental fields, in order to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The meeting also specifically addressed the African Investment Bank file, where the Libyan side reviewed the latest efforts to activate this continental financial institution, which is to be hosted by Libya. They affirmed the Libyan state\u2019s commitment to advancing this strategic project into implementation, given its pivotal role in supporting African economic integration and financing development projects.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
