التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم السبت الموافق 2026.10.10، معالي السيد شيخ نيانغ، وزير التكامل الأفريقي والشؤون الخارجية والسنغاليين بالخارج بجمهورية السنغال، على هامش الاجتماع الوزاري لمجموعة العشرة الإفريقية بطرابلس بحضور علاء الدين التاجوري مدير ادارة الشؤون الافريقية، حيث بحث الجانبان العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين وسبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق في مختلف المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وتناول اللقاء مستجدات الأوضاع في القارة الأفريقية، وأهمية تعزيز العمل الأفريقي المشترك وتكثيف التنسيق بين الدول الأعضاء لمواجهة التحديات الأمنية والسياسية والاقتصادية التي تشهدها المنطقة.
كما بحث الجانبان الجهود الرامية إلى إعادة تفعيل تجمع دول الساحل والصحراء (س.ص) واستعادة دوره في تعزيز التكامل الإقليمي والتعاون بين الدول الأعضاء، بما يسهم في دعم الأمن والاستقرار ومكافحة الإرهاب والجريمة المنظمة والهجرة غير النظامية.
وفي هذا السياق، استعرض الجانب الليبي الخطوات الجارية لاستكمال الإجراءات المؤسسية اللازمة لعودة الأمانة التنفيذية للتجمع إلى مقرها الأصلي بالعاصمة طرابلس، مؤكداً حرص دولة ليبيا على استعادة التجمع لدوره الفاعل في منظومة العمل الأفريقي المشترك.
كما جرى التأكيد على أهمية عقد اجتماع المجلس الوزاري للتجمع في العاصمة طرابلس خلال شهر نوفمبر المقبل، باعتباره محطة مهمة لاستكمال الترتيبات اللازمة لإعادة تفعيل مؤسسات التجمع، تمهيداً لعقد قمة رؤساء دول وحكومات الدول الأعضاء، بما يعزز مسيرة التكامل والتعاون الإقليمي ويحقق تطلعات شعوب المنطقة.
وأكد الجانبان في ختام اللقاء أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق بين البلدين، ودعم المبادرات الرامية إلى تعزيز التضامن الأفريقي وترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية في القارة.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Saturday, 10 October 2026, with His Excellency Mr. Cheikh Niang, Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad of the Republic of Senegal, on the sidelines of the African C10 Ministerial Meeting in Tripoli، in the presence of Mr. Alaa Al-Din Al-Tajouri, Director of the African Affairs Department.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination across various areas of mutual interest.
The meeting also addressed the latest developments across the African continent and the importance of strengthening joint African action and intensifying coordination among member states to address the security, political and economic challenges facing the region.
The two sides further discussed efforts to reactivate the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD) and restore its role in promoting regional integration and cooperation among member states, thereby contributing to supporting security and stability and combating terrorism, organized crime and irregular migration.
In this context, the Libyan side reviewed the ongoing steps to complete the necessary institutional procedures for the return of the Community’s Executive Secretariat to its original headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, affirming Libya’s commitment to restoring the Community’s active role within the framework of joint African action.
The two sides also emphasized the importance of holding a meeting of the Community’s Ministerial Council in Tripoli next November, as an important milestone in completing the arrangements required to reactivate the Community’s institutions, paving the way for a summit of heads of state and government of member countries. This would strengthen regional integration and cooperation and advance the aspirations of the region’s peoples.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of continuing consultations and coordination between the two countries and supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening African solidarity and consolidating security, stability and development across the continent.
