شارك معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الخميس الموافق 24 سبتمبر 2026، في أعمال الاجتماع الوزاري الثاني لجامعة الدول العربية ودول مجموعة (MED9)، المنعقد بدعوة من الجمهورية الإيطالية وجمهورية كرواتيا، على هامش أعمال الدورة الحادية والثمانين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك.
وتناول الاجتماع سبل تعزيز التعاون في مجال الأمن الغذائي، وضمان الوصول إلى الأسمدة، ومواجهة التحديات التي تؤثر في سلاسل الإمداد والإنتاج الزراعي، إلى جانب دعم الجهود والمبادرات الدولية الرامية إلى تعزيز استدامة النظم الغذائية.
وتأتي مشاركة دولة ليبيا تأكيدا على حرصها على دعم الجهود الدولية في مجال الأمن الغذائي، وتعزيز التعاون والشراكات لمواجهة التحديات المشتركة وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, participated today, Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the Second Ministerial Meeting between the League of Arab States and the MED9 Group, convened at the invitation of the Italian Republic and the Republic of Croatia, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of food security, ensure access to fertilisers, and address challenges affecting supply chains and agricultural production, alongside supporting international efforts and initiatives aimed at promoting the sustainability of food systems.
The participation of the State of Libya reaffirms its commitment to supporting international efforts in the field of food security, strengthening cooperation and partnerships to address common challenges, and achieving sustainable development.
