التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الثلاثاء 22 سبتمبر 2026، معالي السيد كريس فيرن، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والأوروبية لجمهورية مالطا، على هامش أعمال الدورة الحادية والثمانين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك.
بحث الجانبان سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية وتوسيع مجالات التعاون والتنسيق بين البلدين، كما تبادلا وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق ودعم الأمن والاستقرار في منطقة المتوسط.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Tuesday, 22 September 2026, with H.E. Mr. Chris Fearne, Malta’s Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand areas of cooperation and coordination between the two countries. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, reaffirming the importance of continuing consultations and coordination and supporting security and stability in the Mediterranean region.
