شارك معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، الاثنين الموافق 21 سبتمبر 2026، في الاجتماع التشاوري السنوي لوزراء الخارجية العرب، المنعقد على هامش أعمال الدورة الحادية والثمانين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك.
ترأس الاجتماع معالي السيد محمد علي النفطي، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والهجرة والتونسيين بالخارج بالجمهورية التونسية، ورئيس الدورة الـ166 لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري، بحضور معالي السيد نبيل فهمي، الأمين العام لجامعة الدول العربية.
ناقش الاجتماع تنسيق المواقف العربية إزاء القضايا المطروحة على جدول أعمال الدورة الـ81 للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، وتوحيد الرؤى والمواقف العربية تجاه القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الأولوية، وفي مقدمتها مستجدات القضية الفلسطينية والتطورات في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، إلى جانب عدد من الملفات والقضايا التي تهم العالم العربي.
كما بحث الوزراء سبل تعزيز العمل العربي المشترك والتنسيق داخل أروقة الأمم المتحدة والمحافل الدولية، بما يسهم في دعم القضايا والمصالح العربية وتعزيز التضامن العربي.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, participated on Monday, September 21, 2026, in the annual consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers, held on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The meeting was chaired by H.E. Mr. Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad of the Republic of Tunisia, and President of the 166th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
The meeting discussed the coordination of Arab positions on issues on the agenda of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, as well as efforts to unify Arab views and positions on priority regional and international issues, foremost among them the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause and developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to a number of issues and files of concern to the Arab world.
The ministers also discussed ways to strengthen joint Arab action and coordination within the United Nations and other international forums, in a manner that contributes to supporting Arab causes and interests and enhancing Arab solidarity.
