استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 2 سبتمبر 2026، بديوان الوزارة، السيد شبل صهباني، ممثل منظمة الصحة العالمية الجديد المعين لدى دولة ليبيا.
قدم السيد شبل صهباني، نسخة من أوراق اعتماده إلى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، تمهيدا لبدء مهامه ممثلا لمنظمة الصحة العالمية لدى دولة ليبيا.
وجرى خلال اللقاء بحث أوجه التعاون والتنسيق بين دولة ليبيا ومنظمة الصحة العالمية، واستعراض عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما يسهم في دعم وتطوير التعاون في المجال الصحي، وتعزيز الجهود المشتركة الرامية إلى الارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات الصحية في ليبيا.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Minister-designate for the Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today, Wednesday, 2 September 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters, Mr. Shibl Sahbani, the newly appointed Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) to the State of Libya.
Mr. Shibl Sahbani presented a copy of his credentials to H.E. Mr. Taher El-Baour, in preparation for the commencement of his duties as the WHO Representative to the State of Libya.
The meeting addressed various aspects of cooperation and coordination between the State of Libya and the World Health Organization, and reviewed a number of issues of mutual interest. The discussions aimed to support and further develop cooperation in the health sector and strengthen joint efforts to improve the quality of health services in Libya.
