التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين الموافق 31 أغسطس 2026، سعادة سفير جمهورية الصين الشعبية لدى ليبيا، السيد ما شيوي ليانغ.
وتناول اللقاء العلاقات الثنائية بين ليبيا وجمهورية الصين الشعبية، وسبل تطويرها وتعزيز التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات، بما يحقق المصالح المتبادلة للبلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
كما جرى بحث دعم وتوسيع آفاق التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري والاستثماري، والاستفادة من الخبرات الصينية في مجالات البنية التحتية والتنمية والإعمار والطاقة والصحة والتعليم والتدريب، إلى جانب تشجيع المؤسسات والقطاع الخاص في البلدين على تعزيز التواصل والشراكات.
وتطرق الجانبان إلى التنسيق والتشاور بشأن القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وأهمية مواصلة التنسيق بين البلدين في المحافل الدولية، بما يسهم في دعم الاستقرار وتعزيز التعاون بين ليبيا والصين.
وأكد الجانبان حرصهما على مواصلة العمل المشترك لتطوير العلاقات الليبية الصينية والارتقاء بها إلى آفاق أوسع، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين.
وفي ختام اللقاء، قدم سعادة السفير لوحة خطية تذكارية لمعالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، تجسد رمزية الصداقة الليبية الصينية، تعبيرا عن عمق العلاقات التاريخية التي تجمع البلدين والشعبين الصديقين، وتقديرا لجهود تعزيز التعاون الثنائي وتطويره في مختلف المجالات.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Monday, August 31, 2026, with His Excellency Mr. Ma Xiu Liang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Libya.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between Libya and the People’s Republic of China, as well as ways to further develop them and strengthen cooperation across various fields, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
The two sides also discussed supporting and expanding economic, trade, and investment cooperation, as well as benefiting from Chinese expertise in the fields of infrastructure, development and reconstruction, energy, health, education, and training. They also emphasized the importance of encouraging institutions and the private sector in both countries to strengthen communication and partnerships.
The meeting further addressed coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of common interest, and the importance of maintaining coordination between the two countries at international forums in a manner that contributes to supporting stability and strengthening cooperation between Libya and China.
Both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to develop Libyan-Chinese relations and elevate them to broader horizons, in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency the Ambassador presented His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour with a Commemorative Chinese calligraphy artwork symbolizing Libyan-Chinese friendship, as an expression of the deep historical ties between the two countries and their friendly peoples, and in appreciation of efforts to strengthen and further develop bilateral cooperation across various fields.
