في ختام زيارته الرسمية إلى جمهورية العراق للمشاركة في أعمال اللجنة الليبية-العراقية المشتركة، أجرى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 2026.08.25، جولة تفقدية إلى مقر سفارة دولة ليبيا في العاصمة بغداد.
وكان في استقبال معاليه لدى وصوله مقر السفارة، رئيس وأعضاء البعثة الدبلوماسية الليبية، حيث اطلع على سير العمل بمختلف أقسام السفارة، واستمع إلى إحاطة حول نشاط البعثة وأوضاع الجالية الليبية، والجهود المبذولة لتقديم الخدمات القنصلية للمواطنين الليبيين.
كما ناقش معاليه خلال الجولة عدداً من الموضوعات المتعلقة بأداء السفارة وتطوير آليات العمل الدبلوماسي والقنصلي، مؤكداً أهمية الارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين، وتعزيز أداء البعثة بما يسهم في دعم العلاقات الثنائية بين ليبيا والعراق.
وأكد معاليه ضرورة مواصلة العمل بروح المسؤولية، والحرص على تمثيل ليبيا بالصورة التي تليق بها، وتعزيز التواصل مع أبناء الجالية الليبية ومتابعة شؤونهم، بما ينسجم مع توجيهات وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي.
At the conclusion of his official visit to the Republic of Iraq to participate in the meetings of the Libyan-Iraqi Joint Committee, H.E. Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, conducted an inspection tour of the Embassy of the State of Libya in the capital, Baghdad, today, Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Upon his arrival at the Embassy, H.E. was received by the Head and members of the Libyan diplomatic mission. He reviewed the workflow across the Embassy’s various departments and was briefed on the mission’s activities, the affairs of the Libyan community, and the efforts being made to provide consular services to Libyan citizens.
During the tour, H.E. also discussed a number of issues related to the Embassy’s performance and the development of diplomatic and consular work mechanisms, stressing the importance of enhancing the quality of services provided to citizens and improving the mission’s performance in a manner that contributes to supporting bilateral relations between Libya and Iraq.
H.E. stressed the need to continue working in a spirit of responsibility, ensuring that Libya is represented in a manner befitting the country, while strengthening communication with members of the Libyan community and following up on their affairs, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
