التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 18 أغسطس 2026، السيدة أولريكا ريتشاردسون، نائبة الممثل الخاص للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة في ليبيا والمنسقة المقيمة للأمم المتحدة، وذلك بمقر ديوان الوزارة في طرابلس.
تناول اللقاء مستجدات التعاون والتنسيق القائم بين دولة ليبيا ومنظومة الأمم المتحدة، وسبل تعزيز الشراكة في المجالات الإنسانية والتنموية، بما يسهم في دعم جهود الدولة الليبية في ترسيخ الاستقرار وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
كما جرى خلال اللقاء تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من القضايا والملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وبحث آفاق تطوير التعاون بين وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي وبعثة الأمم المتحدة للدعم في ليبيا، إلى جانب وكالات الأمم المتحدة وصناديقها وبرامجها العاملة في البلاد، بما يتوافق مع الأولويات الوطنية.
H.E. Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Tuesday, 18 August 2026, with Ms. Ulrika Richardson, Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya and UN Resident Coordinator, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli.
The meeting addressed the latest developments in cooperation and coordination between the State of Libya and the United Nations system, as well as ways to strengthen the partnership in humanitarian and development fields, in support of Libya’s efforts to consolidate stability and achieve sustainable development.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on a number of issues and files of mutual interest and to explore prospects for enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), as well as UN agencies, funds, and programmes operating in the country, in line with national priorities.
