عقد معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين الموافق 3 أغسطس 2026، اجتماعا ضم السيد الحسن بن رابحة، مدير إدارة شؤون آسيا وأستراليا، ومندوبا عن إدارة الشؤون الأفريقية.
وتناول الاجتماع متابعة سير العمل بالإدارتين، واستعراض أبرز الملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، إلى جانب مناقشة آليات تعزيز التنسيق بشأن القضايا الإقليمية، بما يسهم في تطوير الأداء وتحقيق الأهداف الموكلة إلى الإدارتين.
واستعرض معاليه أبرز النتائج التي حققتها دولة ليبيا خلال مشاركتها في أعمال الدورة العادية التاسعة والأربعين للمجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الأفريقي، التي عقدت يومي 28 و29 يوليو 2026، مؤكدا أهمية البناء على ما تحقق من مخرجات، ومواصلة التنسيق مع الشركاء الأفارقة والآسيويين لتعزيز حضور ليبيا في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية.
كما ناقش الاجتماع مستجدات العلاقات مع دول آسيا وأستراليا والدول الأفريقية، وسبل تطوير التعاون الثنائي ومتعدد الأطراف، مؤكدا أهمية تكثيف الجهود لتنفيذ أولويات السياسة الخارجية لدولة ليبيا، بما يخدم مصالحها الوطنية ويعزز علاقاتها مع دول القارتين.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a meeting on Monday, 3 August 2026, with Mr. Al-Hassan Bin Rabha, Director of the Asia and Australia Affairs Department, and a representative of the African Affairs Department.
The meeting reviewed the progress of work within the two departments, examined key issues of common interest, and discussed mechanisms for enhancing coordination on regional affairs in a manner that contributes to improving performance and achieving the departments’ assigned objectives.
H.E. also reviewed the key outcomes achieved by the State of Libya during its participation in the 49th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, held on 28 and 29 July 2026. He emphasized the importance of building on these outcomes and continuing coordination with African and Asian partners to strengthen Libya’s presence in regional and international forums.
The meeting further discussed developments in Libya’s relations with the countries of Asia, Australia, and Africa, as well as ways to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation. H.E. stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to implement the priorities of the State of Libya’s foreign policy in a manner that serves its national interests and strengthens its relations with countries across both continents.
