عقد معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، صباح اليوم الاثنين الموافق 27 يوليو 2026، اجتماعا ثنائيا مع معالي السيد موساليا مودافادي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير شؤون مجلس الوزراء المسؤول عن الشؤون الخارجية والكينيين في المهجر بجمهورية كينيا، ورئيس لجنة الترشيحات الدولية في الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك، وذلك على هامش مشاركته في أعمال الدورة العادية التاسعة والأربعين للمجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي، المنعقدة بالعاصمة الإثيوبية أديس أبابا، وذلك بحضور السيد علاء الدين التاجوري، مدير إدارة الشؤون الأفريقية، وسعادة السيد محمد آدم لينو، المندوب الدائم لدولة ليبيا لدى الاتحاد الأفريقي، والسيد طاهر السني مندوب دولة ليبيا الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة بنيويورك.
تناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين دولة ليبيا وجمهورية كينيا، وبحث آفاق تطوير التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات ذات الاهتمام المتبادل، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والقارية المدرجة على جدول أعمال المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي، مؤكدين أهمية تعزيز التنسيق والتشاور داخل الأطر الإفريقية والدولية، بما يدعم جهود السلم والاستقرار والتنمية المستدامة في القارة.
وأكد الجانبان حرصهما على مواصلة التنسيق والتعاون في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية، بما يسهم في تعزيز العمل الإفريقي المشترك ومواجهة التحديات التي تشهدها القارة، انطلاقًا من مبادئ التضامن والشراكة وتحقيق المصالح المشتركة.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting on Monday morning, 27 July 2026, with H.E. Mr. Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, chairperson of the International Candidatures Committee at the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of his participation in the 49th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union, held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Alaaeddin Al-Tajouri, Director of the African Affairs Department, and H.E. Mr. Mohamed Adam Lino, Permanent Representative of the State of Libya to the African Union and H.E. Ambassador Taher El-Sonni, Permanent Representative of the State of Libya to the United Nations in New York.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Republic of Kenya and explored prospects for expanding cooperation across various fields of mutual interest, in a manner that serves the shared interests of both friendly countries and peoples.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and continental issues on the agenda of the Executive Council of the African Union, emphasizing the importance of strengthening coordination and consultation within African and international frameworks in support of peace, stability, and sustainable development across the continent.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination and cooperation in regional and international fora, in a manner that contributes to strengthening joint African action and addressing the challenges facing the continent, based on the principles of solidarity, partnership, and the pursuit of shared interests.
