التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الخميس الموافق 2026.07.23، بديوان الوزارة، سعادة السيد عبدالله بن دخيل الله السلمي، القائم بأعمال سفارة المملكة العربية السعودية لدى دولة ليبيا.
تناول اللقاء العلاقات الأخوية التي تربط دولة ليبيا والمملكة العربية السعودية، وسبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي والارتقاء به في مختلف المجالات، بما يحقق تطلعات الشعبين الشقيقين.
كما بحث الجانبان عدداً من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وآخر المستجدات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية، مؤكدين أهمية استمرار التنسيق والتشاور بين البلدين في المحافل العربية والدولية، ودعم كل ما من شأنه تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وأكد الجانبان حرصهما على مواصلة تطوير آفاق التعاون السياسي والاقتصادي والتنموي، وتعزيز الروابط بين المؤسسات الليبية والسعودية، بما يعكس عمق العلاقات الثنائية والمكانة التي تحظى بها في إطار العمل العربي المشترك.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Thursday, 23 July 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters, with His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Dukhail Allah Al-Sulami, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Libya.
The meeting addressed the fraternal relations between the State of Libya and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as ways to enhance and further develop bilateral cooperation in various fields in a manner that serves the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
The two sides also discussed a number of issues of common interest and the latest developments at the regional and international levels, emphasizing the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation between the two countries in Arab and international forums, and supporting all efforts that contribute to strengthening security and stability in the region.
Both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing to expand prospects for political, economic, and development cooperation, and to strengthening ties between Libyan and Saudi institutions, in a way that reflects the depth of bilateral relations and their importance within the framework of joint Arab action.
