استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الخميس الموافق 2 يوليو 2026، السيدة صوفي كيمخدزه، الممثل المقيم لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP) لدى دولة ليبيا.
بحث الجانبان سبل تعزيز التعاون بين وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، وآفاق توسيع الشراكة في مجالات دعم التنمية المستدامة، وبناء القدرات المؤسسية، وتطوير الإدارة العامة، بما يسهم في دعم أولويات الدولة الليبية وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
كما استعرضا البرامج والمشروعات المشتركة الجاري تنفيذها، وتبادلا وجهات النظر بشأن آليات تعزيز التنسيق والتعاون في تنفيذ المبادرات التنموية، بما يضمن تحقيق نتائج أكثر فاعلية واستدامة.
واتفق الجانبان على مواصلة التنسيق والتشاور، وتعزيز الشراكة بين الجانبين، والعمل على تطوير برامج التعاون بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة، ويدعم جهود التنمية والاستقرار في ليبيا، مع التأكيد على أهمية استمرار التعاون البنّاء بين الحكومة الليبية وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today, Thursday, 2 July 2026, Ms. Sophie Kemkhadze, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Libya.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the United Nations Development Programme, as well as prospects for expanding their partnership in the areas of sustainable development, institutional capacity-building, and public administration reform, in support of Libya’s national priorities and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
They also reviewed ongoing joint programmes and projects and exchanged views on mechanisms to further enhance coordination and cooperation in implementing development initiatives, with the aim of ensuring more effective and sustainable outcomes.
The two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultation, strengthen their partnership, and further develop cooperation programmes in a manner that serves their shared interests and supports Libya’s development and stability, while reaffirming the importance of continued constructive cooperation between the Government of Libya and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
