التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين الموافق 22 يونيو 2026، في العاصمة الأردنية عمان، بمعالي السيد سلطان بن سعد المريخي، وزير الدولة للشؤون الخارجية بدولة قطر، وذلك على هامش أعمال الدورة العادية (165) لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري.
وتناول الجانبان خلال اللقاء سبل دعم وتطوير العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الشقيقين، وبحث آليات تعزيز التعاون المشترك في مختلف المجالات ، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للشعبين الشقيقين.
كما ناقش الطرفان الترتيبات المتعلقة بعقد اللجنة المشتركة الليبية – القطرية، وأهمية تفعيل مخرجاتها بما يسهم في توسيع آفاق التعاون الثنائي وتعزيز الشراكة بين البلدين.
وتبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، مؤكدين أهمية استمرار التنسيق والتشاور بما يدعم الأمن والاستقرار ويخدم المصالح المشتركة.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Monday, 22 June 2026, in Amman, with His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, on the sidelines of the 165th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the Ministerial Level.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to support and further develop bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and explored mechanisms to enhance cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves their shared interests.
The parties also discussed arrangements for convening the Libya–Qatar Joint Committee and emphasized the importance of activating its outcomes to expand avenues of bilateral cooperation and strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
The two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, reaffirming the importance of continued coordination and consultation in support of security and stability and in pursuit of their common interests.
