استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلّف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، صباح اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 10 يونيو 2026، معالي السيدة ألكسندرا بابادوبولو، نائبة وزير خارجية الجمهورية اليونانية، والوفد المرافق لها،
تناول الجانبان خلال اللقاء سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الصديقين، وآفاق تطوير التعاون في المجالات الاقتصادية والطاقة ومشاريع التنمية، إلى جانب بحث فرص توسيع الشراكة والتعاون في مختلف المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما جرى استعراض أعمال اللجنة الفنية الليبية– اليونانية المشتركة لترسيم الحدود البحرية، وأكدا التزامهما بمواصلة الحوار البنّاء بروح إيجابية، استنادا إلى قواعد القانون الدولي، ومتابعة الملفات ذات الصلة بالتعاون الثنائي، بما يسهم في تعزيز العلاقات بين البلدين وترسيخ أسس الشراكة القائمة على المصالح المشتركة والاحترام المتبادل.
وتبادل الطرفان وجهات النظر حول تطورات الأوضاع على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية والقضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، مؤكدين أهمية استمرار التنسيق والتشاور السياسي حيال المستجدات الراهنة.
وفي ختام اللقاء، اتفق الجانبان على مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين الصديقين، ويسهم في تعزيز التعاون الثنائي ودعم الاستقرار والازدهار في المنطقة.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received this morning, Wednesday, June 10, 2026, Her Excellency Ms. Alexandra Papadopoulou, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, and her accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and explored prospects for enhancing cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, and development projects, as well as opportunities to expand partnership and cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
They also reviewed the work of the Joint Libyan-Greek Technical Committee on Maritime Boundary Delimitation and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing constructive dialogue in a positive spirit, based on the principles of international law. They further agreed to follow up on issues related to bilateral cooperation in a manner that contributes to strengthening relations between the two countries and consolidating a partnership founded on shared interests and mutual respect.
The two parties exchanged views on developments at the regional and international levels and on issues of common concern, emphasizing the importance of maintaining coordination and political consultations regarding current developments.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue consultations and coordination in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries and contributes to enhancing bilateral cooperation while supporting stability and prosperity in the region.
