استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الأحد الموافق 2026.06.07، بديوان الوزارة، سعادة السيد علي أونانير، مدير عام إدارة شؤون شمال وشرق أفريقيا بوزارة الخارجية التركية، وسعادة السيد غوفين بيغيتش، سفير جمهورية تركيا لدى ليبيا الوفد المرافق لهم.
وحضر اللقاء السيد أبوبكر إبراهيم الطويل، مدير إدارة الشؤون الأوروبية، والسيد عامر خليفة أبريدان، رئيس قسم وسط غرب آسيا بإدارة شؤون آسيا وأستراليا.
ناقش اللقاء تعزيز العلاقات التاريخية والأخوية الراسخة بين دولة ليبيا وجمهورية تركيا، وبحث سبل تطوير التعاون المشترك والارتقاء بآفاق الشراكة في مختلف المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية بما يخدم المصالح المتبادلة للبلدين الشقيقين.
استعرض الجانبان خلال اللقاء مستجدات العملية السياسية في ليبيا، حيث جرى مناقشة جهود بعثة الأمم المتحدة للدعم في ليبيا والمسارات الحوارية القائمة، وجدد الجانب التركي تأكيد موقف بلاده الداعم والثابت لوحدة ليبيا واستقرارها، وتأييده الكامل لما يختاره ويقرره الليبيون بأنفسهم في مسار التحضير للانتخابات دون أي تدخلات خارجية.
كما بحث الاجتماع ملفات التعاون الاقتصادي والتنموي، ومواصلة الشركات التركية لدورها في إعادة إعمار البنية التحتية، إلى جانب الإشادة بالنتائج الإيجابية لشركة البترول التركية في قطاع استكشاف النفط، بالإضافة إلى استعراض ملفات التنسيق الأمني والعسكري وتبادل الخبرات الإدارية والفنية في معالجة ملف المهاجرين غير الشرعيين.
وتناول اللقاء أيضا الترتيبات الدبلوماسية واللوجستية الجارية لاستضافة دولة ليبيا لأعمال (قمة الشراكة التركية – الأفريقية) المزعم عقدها نهاية هذا العام.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء تجسيدا لحرص البلدين على استمرار التشاور الوثيق، وتنسيق المواقف في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية بما يسهم في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية في المنطقة.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Today, Sunday, 07 June 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters His Excellency Mr. Ali Onanir, Director General of the Department of North and East African Affairs at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Mr. Köven Bektaş, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Libya, along with their accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abubaker Ibrahim Al-Tawil, Director of the European Affairs Department, and Mr. Amer Khalifa Abridan, Head of the Central-West Asia Section at the Department of Asian and Australian Affairs.
The meeting discussed strengthening the historically deep-rooted and fraternal relations between the State of Libya and the Republic of Türkiye, as well as ways to develop joint cooperation and elevate the horizons of partnership in various political and economic fields, in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two brotherly countries.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed updates on the political process in Libya, including discussions on the efforts of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya and the ongoing dialogue tracks. The Turkish side reaffirmed its supportive and firm position on Libya’s unity and stability, fully endorsing whatever the Libyans themselves choose and decide in the electoral preparation process without any external interference.
The meeting also addressed files on economic and developmental cooperation, the continued role of Turkish companies in rebuilding infrastructure, and praised the positive outcomes of the Turkish Petroleum Company in the oil exploration sector. Additionally, the discussions covered security and military coordination files, as well as the exchange of administrative and technical expertise in addressing the issue of irregular migration.
The meeting further touched upon the diplomatic and logistical arrangements underway for Libya to host the (Turkish-African Partnership Summit) scheduled for the end of this year.
This meeting reflects the two countries’ commitment to continuing close consultations and coordinating positions in regional and international forums, contributing to the enhancement of security, stability, and development in the region.
