استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسييـر شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين الموافق 1 يونيو 2026، بديوان الوزارة، سعادة سفير روسيا الاتحادية المعتمد لدى دولة ليبيا، السيد حيدر أغانين.
تناول اللقاء آفاق تعزيز وتطوير علاقات التعاون الثنائية بين البلدين الصديقين في مختلف المجالات، بما يسهم في خدمة المصالح المشتركة ويدعم الشراكة القائمة بينهما.
كما جرى تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وفي مقدمتها مستجدات الأوضاع في ليبيا والجهود المبذولة لدعم مسار الاستقرار وترسيخ الأمن، بما يفضي إلى إنجاح العملية السياسية وتحقيق تطلعات الشعب الليبي.
كما أكد الجانبان أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق إزاء القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وتعزيز قنوات التواصل الدبلوماسي بما يخدم المصالح المتبادلة ويسهم في دعم الاستقرار والتعاون الإقليمي.
وفي ختام اللقاء، جدد الطرفان تأكيدهما على متانة العلاقات الليبية الروسية، واتفقا على مواصلة التنسيق والتشاور خلال المرحلة المقبلة، بما يعزز أواصر التعاون بين البلدين ويحقق المصالح المشتركة للشعبين الصديقين.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation received, on Monday, 1 June 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters, H.E. the Ambassador of the Russian Federation accredited to the State of Libya, Mr. Aydar Aghanin.
The meeting discussed prospects for strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries across various fields, in a manner that serves their mutual interests and further advances their longstanding partnership. The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, particularly developments in Libya and ongoing efforts to promote stability and security, support the political process, and meet the aspirations of the Libyan people.
The discussions further underscored the importance of maintaining close consultation and coordination on issues of shared interest, while enhancing diplomatic engagement in support of mutual interests and regional stability.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the strength of Libyan-Russian relations and agreed to continue coordination and consultations in the coming period, with a view to further deepening cooperation and advancing the shared interests of the two friendly peoples.
