استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسي ير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الخميس الموافق 21 مايو 2026، بمقر ديوان الوزارة، سعادة السيد ودادي ولد سيدي هيبة، سفير الجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية لدى دولة ليبيا، وذلك بمناسبة انتهاء مهام عمله الدبلوماسي سفيرا لبلاده لدى ليبيا.
وتناول اللقاء مسيرة العلاقات الثنائية التي تجمع دولة ليبيا والجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية، وما شهدته من تطور وتعاون في عدد من المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، إلى جانب بحث سبل دعمها وتعزيزها بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للشعبين الشقيقين.
وأشاد معالي السيد الباعور بالدور الإيجابي الذي اضطلع به السفير الموريتاني خلال فترة عمله، مثمنا جهوده في دعم علاقات الصداقة والتعاون بين البلدين، ومتمنيا له التوفيق والنجاح في مهامه الدبلوماسية المقبلة.
من جانبه، أعرب السفير الموريتاني عن شكره وتقديره لمعالي السيد الباعور، ولوزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، على ما حظي به من تعاون وتسهيلات أسهمت في إنجاح مهمته، مؤكدا عمق العلاقات الثنائية وحرص بلاده على مواصلة تطويرها وتعزيزها في مختلف المجالات.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today, Thursday, 21 May 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters, His Excellency Mr. Wadadi Ould Sidi Haiba, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the State of Libya, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure as his country’s Ambassador to Libya.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the course of bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the progress and cooperation achieved across a number of areas of mutual interest. They also discussed ways to further support and strengthen these relations in a manner that serves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
Mr. El-Baour commended the positive role played by the Mauritanian Ambassador throughout his tenure, praising his efforts in supporting the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, and wishing him continued success in his future diplomatic assignments.
For his part, the Mauritanian Ambassador expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Al-Baour and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the cooperation and facilitation extended to him, which contributed to the success of his mission. He also affirmed the depth of bilateral relations and his country’s commitment to continuing their development and enhancement across various fields.
