قام معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الخميس الموافق 2026.04.16، بزيارة رسمية إلى جمهورية النيجر، التقى خلالها بمعالي وزير الخارجية، باكاري ياو سانغاري.
أجرى الباعور، يرافقه السيد جبريل اشتيوي، مدير مكتب وزير الدفاع، وبحضور السيد عبد الرحمن خمادة، القائم باعمال سفارة دولة ليبيا في جمهورية النيجر، وأعضاء الوفد المرافق، مباحثات رسمية مع وزير الخارجية، باكاري ياو سانغاري، تناولت العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الصديقين وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات.
كما ناقش الجانبان التعاون المشترك في اقامة المشاريع التنموية وتبادل الخبرات، إضافة إلى جهود الحد من الهجرة غير النظامية وإدارة الحدود.
واستعرض الجانبان عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وأكدا في هذا الإطار أهمية العمل على تسوية النزاعات والخلافات عبر الحوار القائم على احترام سيادة الدول واستقلالها.
وفي ختام اللقاء اتفق الجانبان على مواصلة الحوار والتشاور تحقيقا للمصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, paid an official visit today, Thursday, April 16, 2026, to the Republic of Niger, during which he met with His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakary Yaou Sangaré.
El-Baour, accompanied by Mr. Jibril Ashtaiwi, Director of the Office of the Minister of Defense, and in the presence of Mr. Abdulrahman Khammada, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Libya in the Republic of Niger, along with members of the delegation, held official talks with Foreign Minister Bakary Yaou Sangaré. The discussions focused on bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields.
The two sides also discussed joint cooperation in establishing development projects and exchanging expertise, in addition to efforts to curb irregular migration and enhance border management.
They further reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of resolving disputes and differences through dialogue based on respect for the sovereignty and independence of states.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue dialogue and consultation in order to serve the common interests of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
