شارك معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور اليوم في حفل إطلاق الخطة الوطنية بشأن تغير المناخ، ضمن استعدادات ليبيا للمشاركة في مؤتمر الأطراف حول المناخ (COP-30) المقرر انعقاده في البرازيل.
تجسد هذه المشاركة التزام حكومة الوحدة الوطنية بالتصدي لتحديات التغير المناخي، إدراكا منها لخطورة انعكاساته على البيئة والمجتمع والصحة والاقتصاد والأمن الغذائي، ولما يسببه من تفاقم للفقر والهجرة القسرية.
H.E Mr. El Taher El Baour participated today in the launch ceremony of the National Plan on Climate Change, held in preparation for Libya’s participation in the upcoming COP-30 Conference in Brazil.
The event comes within the framework of the Government of National Unity’s commitment to addressing the challenges of climate change, recognizing the grave threats it poses and its far-reaching impacts on the environment, public health, economy, food security, as well as its role in exacerbating poverty and forced migration.
