عقد معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاربعاء الموافق 2026.10.14، اجتماعا ضم كل من الدكتور أحمد الحضيري والأستاذ عصام زاوية، المندوبين عن إدارة الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الدولي برئاسة مجلس الوزراء، وبحضور السيد أحمد الأشهب، المستشار بمكتب الوزير، والسيد محمد بوراوي، مدير مكتب التخطيط الاستراتيجي بالوزارة.
ناقش الاجتماع مرتكزات استراتيجية الوزارة لعام 2027، وأولويات العمل الدبلوماسي، وتعزيز حضور ليبيا دوليا، والاستعداد للترشح لعضوية مجلس الأمن للفترة 2028–2029، إلى جانب دعم الاستثمار، وتطوير أداء البعثات الدبلوماسية، وتعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والثقافي.
كما تطرق إلى الملفات الإدارية والوظيفية وآليات التخطيط والمتابعة، مع التأكيد على تنسيق الجهود وتنفيذ الأهداف وفق جداول زمنية واضحة، بما يخدم المصالح الوطنية ويعزز مكانة ليبيا إقليميا ودوليا.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a meeting on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, with Dr. Ahmed Al-Hudairi and Mr. Essam Zawiya, representatives of the Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Department at the Prime Minister’s Office. The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Al-Ashhab, Adviser at the Minister’s Office, and Mr. Mohammed Burawi, Director of the Ministry’s Strategic Planning Office.
The meeting discussed the key pillars of the Ministry’s 2027 strategy, diplomatic priorities, strengthening Libya’s international presence, and preparations for its candidacy for non-permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council for the 2028–2029 term. Discussions also covered investment promotion, improving the performance of diplomatic missions, and enhancing economic and cultural cooperation.
The meeting further addressed administrative and personnel matters, as well as planning and monitoring mechanisms. Emphasis was placed on coordinating efforts and implementing objectives according to clear timelines, in a manner that serves Libya’s national interests and strengthens its regional and international standing.
