التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين الموافق 28 سبتمبر 2026، سعادة السيد غوفين بيجيتش، سفير الجمهورية التركية لدى دولة ليبيا.
وتناول اللقاء العلاقات الثنائية بين دولة ليبيا والجمهورية التركية، وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
كما ناقش الجانبان الاستعدادات الجارية لاستضافة العاصمة طرابلس أعمال القمة الأفريقية-التركية الرابعة، المقرر عقدها يومي 8 و9 ديسمبر 2026، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة التنسيق والتعاون بين الجانبين لضمان نجاح أعمال القمة، بما يعكس عمق الشراكة بين الدول الأفريقية وتركيا.
كما استعرض الجانبان عدداً من القضايا والموضوعات الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وتبادلا وجهات النظر بشأن المستجدات والتطورات الراهنة.
وأكد الجانبان أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق وتبادل وجهات النظر، بما يسهم في تعزيز التعاون الثنائي ودعم المصالح المشتركة، إلى جانب بحث عدد من الملفات ذات الصلة بالعلاقات بين البلدين وآفاق تطويرها خلال المرحلة المقبلة.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Monday, 28 September 2026, with H.E. Mr. Güven Begeç, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Libya.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Republic of Türkiye, as well as ways to strengthen and further develop them in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries and their peoples.
The two sides also discussed the ongoing preparations for Tripoli to host the Fourth Africa-Türkiye Summit, scheduled to take place on 8 and 9 December 2026. They emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation between the two sides to ensure the success of the Summit, reflecting the depth of the partnership between African countries and Türkiye.
The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues and topics of common interest, and exchanged views on current developments.
They affirmed the importance of continuing consultations, coordination, and the exchange of views in a manner that contributes to strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing shared interests. They also discussed a number of issues related to bilateral relations and prospects for further developing them during the next phase.
