التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الجمعة الموافق 25 سبتمبر 2026، معالي السيد فينيو بوتالي، وزير خارجية جمهورية بوتسوانا، وذلك على هامش أعمال الدورة الحادية والثمانين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة المنعقدة في نيويورك.
وبحث اللقاء العلاقات الثنائية بين دولة ليبيا وجمهورية بوتسوانا، وسبل تعزيزها وتوسيع آفاق التعاون المشترك في عدد من المجالات ذات الاهتمام المتبادل، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وأكدا أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية، بما يعزز علاقات التعاون بين البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Friday, September 25, 2026, with H.E. Mr. Phenyo Butale, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Botswana, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, held in New York.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Republic of Botswana, as well as ways to strengthen them and expand prospects for joint cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest, in a manner that serves the shared interests of the two countries.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest and underscored the importance of continuing consultations and coordination in regional and international forums, in a way that strengthens cooperative relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples.
