التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الثلاثاء 2026.09.22، وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي بجمهورية رواندا معالي السيد أوليفييه ندوهو نجيري، على هامش أعمال الدورة الحادية والثمانين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة المنعقدة في نيويورك.
بحث الجانبان خلال اللقاء سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية وتطوير التعاون المشترك بين ليبيا ورواندا في مختلف المجالات، بما يخدم المصالح المتبادلة ويدعم توسيع آفاق الشراكة بين البلدين.
كما تبادل الطرفان وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، واستعرضا مستجدات الأوضاع في القارة الأفريقية، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق بشأن الملفات المشتركة.
وشدد الجانبان على أهمية تفعيل قنوات التواصل بين البلدين، وتعزيز التعاون في إطار الاتحاد الأفريقي، بما يسهم في دعم جهود تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية في القارة.
Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Tuesday, 22 September 2026, with H.E, Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, held in New York.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and develop cooperation between Libya and Rwanda across various fields, in a manner that serves their mutual interests and supports the expansion of partnership between the two countries.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and reviewed the latest developments in Africa, underscoring the importance of continuing consultations and coordination on shared issues.
Both sides emphasized the importance of activating communication channels between the two countries and enhancing cooperation within the framework of the African Union, contributing to efforts to promote security, stability, and development across the continent.
