أجرى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي بحكومة الوحدة الوطنية، صباح اليوم السبت الموافق 2026.09.12، اتصالاً هاتفياً مع معالي الدكتورة أفراح عبد العزيز الزوبة، وزيرة الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين بالجمهورية اليمنية، تناول مستجدات الأوضاع في اليمن، والتطورات المتسارعة في المنطقة وتداعياتها على الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين.
وأطلعت معالي الوزيرة خلال الاتصال السيد الباعور على آخر مجريات الأحداث والتطورات الميدانية والسياسية في الجمهورية اليمنية، ومسار الصراع الدائر وتداعياته، إلى جانب التطورات الإقليمية وانعكاساتها على الأوضاع في اليمن والمنطقة.
كما بحث الجانبان سبل دعم الشرعية ومؤسسات الدولة، والحفاظ على وحدة الجمهورية اليمنية وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، بما يضمن أمن واستقرار الشعب اليمني، ويهيئ الظروف الملائمة للتوصل إلى حلول سياسية مستدامة يجنب المنطقة مزيدا من التصعيد والعنف.
وأكد السيد الباعور موقف دولة ليبيا الداعم لأمن الجمهورية اليمنية واستقرارها ووحدتها وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، وحرصها على دعم كل الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق الاستقرار وإنهاء الصراع عبر المسارات السياسية والدبلوماسية، بما يحفظ مصالح الشعب اليمني الشقيق.
كما استعرض الجانبان العلاقات الثنائية بين دولة ليبيا والجمهورية اليمنية، مؤكدين حرصهما على تعزيز أواصر الأخوة والتعاون بين البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، وتطوير العلاقات الثنائية في مختلف المجالات، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.
واتفق الجانبان على مواصلة التنسيق والتشاور وتبادل وجهات النظر بشأن القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وتعزيز التواصل بين وزارتي الخارجية، بما يسهم في دعم الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين وترسيخ علاقات التعاون بين البلدين.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher Al-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, held a telephone conversation on Saturday morning, September 12, 2026, with Her Excellency Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Republic of Yemen. The call addressed the latest developments in Yemen, as well as the rapidly evolving situation in the region and its implications for regional security and stability.
During the call, the Yemeni Minister briefed Mr. El-Baour on the latest developments and political and field developments in the Republic of Yemen, the course of the ongoing conflict and its repercussions, as well as regional developments and their impact on the situation in Yemen and the wider region.
The two sides also discussed ways to support the legitimate authorities and state institutions, and to preserve the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen, in a manner that ensures the security and stability of the Yemeni people and creates conducive conditions for reaching sustainable political solutions that prevent further escalation and violence in the region.
Mr. El-Baour reaffirmed the State of Libya’s position in support of the security, stability, unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen, as well as its commitment to supporting all efforts aimed at achieving stability and ending the conflict through political and diplomatic channels, in a manner that safeguards the interests of the brotherly Yemeni people.
The two sides also reviewed bilateral relations between the State of Libya and the Republic of Yemen, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and to developing bilateral relations across various fields in a manner that serves their common interests.
The two sides agreed to continue coordination and consultations and to exchange views on issues of mutual interest, while enhancing communication between the two foreign ministries in a manner that contributes to supporting regional security and stability and strengthening cooperative relations between the two countries.
