عقد معالي السيد محمد الشهوبي، وزير المواصلات، ومعالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الخميس الموافق 20 أغسطس 2026، بديوان رئاسة مجلس الوزراء في العاصمة طرابلس، اجتماعاً ثنائياً مع معالي الدكتور عبد الله صابر فضول، وزير الدولة، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتكامل الأفريقي والتشاديين في الخارج بجمهورية تشاد، الذي يقوم بزيارة رسمية إلى دولة ليبيا على رأس وفد رفيع المستوى، وذلك بحضور السيد علاء الدين التاجوري، مدير إدارة الشؤون الأفريقية.
تناول الاجتماع سبل تعزيز وتطوير علاقات التعاون الثنائي بين ليبيا وتشاد، والارتقاء بها بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين، إلى جانب بحث عدد من الملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، ولا سيما في المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية والمواصلات والنقل.
كما بحث الجانبان الترتيبات والتحضيرات الجارية لعقد اجتماعات اللجنة الليبية التشادية المشتركة، وأهمية تفعيل دورها في دفع مسارات التعاون الثنائي، ومتابعة تنفيذ ما يتم الاتفاق عليه بين الجانبين، بما يسهم في توسيع آفاق الشراكة والتنسيق المشترك.
وتطرق الاجتماع كذلك إلى تعزيز التنسيق والتشاور بين البلدين بشأن القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما يعكس عمق العلاقات التاريخية وحسن الجوار التي تجمع ليبيا وتشاد.
وأكد الجانبان حرصهما على مواصلة التواصل والتنسيق بين المؤسسات المعنية في البلدين، والعمل على تذليل الصعوبات التي قد تعترض مسار التعاون المشترك، بما يحقق نتائج ملموسة تعود بالنفع على البلدين والشعبين.
H.E. Mr. Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, Minister of Transport, and H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting today, Thursday, 20 August 2026, at the Prime Minister’s Office in the capital, Tripoli, with H.E. Dr. Abdallah Sabre Fadoul, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad of the Republic of Chad, who is paying an official visit to Libya at the head of a high-level delegation. The mee ting was attended by Mr. Alaa Al-Din Al-Tajouri, Director of the African Affairs Department.
The meeting discussed ways to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation between Libya and Chad and advance relations in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and peoples. The discussions also covered a number of issues of mutual interest, particularly in the political, economic, transport, and communications fields.
The two sides also discussed the ongoing arrangements and preparations for convening the meetings of the Libyan-Chadian Joint Committee, emphasizing the importance of activating its role in advancing bilateral cooperation and following up on the implementation of agreements reached between the two sides, thereby contributing to expanding the prospects for partnership and joint coordination.
The meeting further addressed ways to enhance coordination and consultation between the two countries on regional and international issues of mutual interest, reflecting the depth of the historical and good-neighborly relations between Libya and Chad.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining communication and coordination between the relevant institutions of the two countries and to working to overcome any challenges that may hinder the course of bilateral cooperation, with a view to achieving tangible outcomes that benefit both countries and peoples.
