عقد معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاربعاء الموافق 19 أغسطس 2026 ، بديوان الوزارة في طرابلس، اجتماعاً ثنائياً مع معالي الدكتور عبد الله صابر فضول، وزير الدولة، وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتكامل الأفريقي والتشاديين في الخارج بجمهورية تشاد، الذي وصل ظهر اليوم إلى ليبيا في زيارة رسمية على رأس وفد رفيع المستوى.
ضم الاجتماع أعضاء وفدي البلدين، الذي جرى خلاله بحث عدد من الملفات والقضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وسبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي وتطويره في مختلف المجالات، إلى جانب دعم آليات التشاور والتنسيق بين الجانبين بشأن القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما تناولت المباحثات تعزيز التنسيق والتعاون في مجال تأمين الحدود المشتركة، ومكافحة الجريمة المنظمة العابرة للحدود، والاتجار بالبشر وتهريب المهاجرين، إلى جانب بحث السبل الكفيلة بالحد من ظاهرة الهجرة غير الشرعية ومعالجة تداعياتها، بما يسهم في تعزيز أمن واستقرار البلدين والمنطقة.
وأكد الجانبان أهمية تكثيف التواصل والتنسيق بين الجهات المختصة في البلدين، وتبادل المعلومات والخبرات، بما يدعم الجهود المشتركة لمواجهة التحديات الأمنية والإنسانية المرتبطة بأمن الحدود والهجرة غير الشرعية.
وتأتي زيارة الوزير التشادي في إطار تعزيز علاقات الأخوة والتعاون القائمة بين دولة ليبيا وجمهورية تشاد، والارتقاء بمستوى التشاور والتنسيق الثنائي، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.
كما بحث الجانبان آفاق تطوير التعاون في المجالات ذات الأولوية، وتبادل وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من التطورات والقضايا الإقليمية والدولية، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة الحوار والتنسيق المشترك بما يعزز الشراكة بين البلدين ويدعم الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية في المنطقة.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held today, Wednesday, 19 August 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tripoli, bilateral talks with H.E. Dr. Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul, Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad of the Republic of Chad, who arrived in Libya earlier today on an official visit at the head of a high-level delegation.
The meeting brought together members of the two countries’ delegations and addressed a number of issues and matters of common interest, as well as ways to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation across various fields. The discussions also focused on enhancing consultation and coordination mechanisms between the two sides on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
The talks also addressed strengthening coordination and cooperation in securing the common border, combating transnational organized crime, human trafficking and migrant smuggling, as well as exploring ways to curb illegal migration and address its repercussions, in a manner that contributes to enhancing the security and stability of the two countries and the region.
The two sides stressed the importance of intensifying communication and coordination between the competent authorities of the two countries and exchanging information and expertise, in support of joint efforts to address the security and humanitarian challenges associated with border security and illegal migration.
The visit of the Chadian Minister comes within the framework of strengthening the fraternal relations and cooperation between the State of Libya and the Republic of Chad, and elevating the level of bilateral consultation and coordination in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
The two sides also discussed prospects for developing cooperation in priority areas and exchanged views on a number of regional and international developments and issues, reaffirming the importance of continuing dialogue and joint coordination in a manner that strengthens the partnership between the two countries and supports security, stability, and development in the region.
