تلقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، دعوة من معالي الدكتور بدر عبد العاطي، وزير الخارجية والهجرة وشؤون المصريين بالخارج بجمهورية مصر العربية، للمشاركة في النسخة السادسة من منتدى أسوان للسلام والتنمية المستدامين، المقرر عقدها يومي 21 و22 نوفمبر 2026 بمدينة أسوان، تحت عنوان: (إعادة تعريف القواسم العالمية المشتركة: دور إفريقيا الفاعل في عصر الاضطراب).
ويعد المنتدى منصة إفريقية رفيعة المستوى تجمع كبار المسؤولين وممثلي المنظمات الإقليمية والدولية والمؤسسات المالية والقطاع الخاص والأوساط الأكاديمية والمجتمع المدني، بهدف تعزيز الحوار والتعاون في مجالات السلام والأمن والتنمية المستدامة.
وتركز أعمال النسخة السادسة على عدد من القضايا ذات الأولوية، من بينها التمويل المستدام، والتكامل الإقليمي، والبنية التحتية، والأمن الغذائي وأمن الطاقة، وتغير المناخ، وخلق فرص العمل، والذكاء الاصطناعي، وتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص، بما يدعم تحقيق أهداف أجندة إفريقيا 2063 وأهداف التنمية المستدامة.
H.E. Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has received an invitation from H.E. Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to participate in the sixth edition of the Aswan Forum for Peace and Sustainable Development, scheduled to be held on 21 and 22 November 2026 in Aswan, under the theme (Redefining Global Commons: Africa’s Active Role in an Era of Disruption).
The Forum is a high-level African platform that brings together senior officials and representatives of regional and international organizations, financial institutions, the private sector, academia, and civil society, with the aim of promoting dialogue and cooperation in the fields of peace, security, and sustainable development.
The sixth edition will focus on a number of priority issues, including sustainable financing, regional integration, infrastructure, food and energy security, climate change, job creation, artificial intelligence, and enhancing the role of the private sector, in support of the objectives of Agenda 2063 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
