التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، بمعالي السيدة سيلفي بايبو تيمون، وزيرة خارجية جمهورية إفريقيا الوسطى، وذلك على هامش أعمال الدورة العادية التاسعة والأربعين للمجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي، المنعقدة بالعاصمة الإثيوبية أديس أبابا يومي 27 و28 يوليو 2026.
وتناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز علاقات التعاون الثنائية بين دولة ليبيا وجمهورية إفريقيا الوسطى، وبحث آفاق تطويرها في مختلف المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما يخدم مصالح البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والقارية المدرجة على جدول أعمال الاتحاد الإفريقي، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة التنسيق والتشاور داخل الأطر الإفريقية المشتركة بما يسهم في دعم جهود السلم والاستقرار والتنمية المستدامة في القارة الإفريقية.
وجدد الجانبان حرصهما على تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين البلدين في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية، بما يعكس عمق العلاقات الأخوية وروح التضامن الإفريقي.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Her Excellency Ms. Sylvie Baïpo-Temon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic, on the sidelines of the 49th Ordinary Session of the African Union Executive Council, held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on 27–28 July 2026.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the State of Libya and the Central African Republic and explored prospects for expanding collaboration across various fields of mutual interest, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and continental issues on the agenda of the African Union, emphasizing the importance of continued coordination and consultation within African multilateral frameworks in support of peace, stability, and sustainable development across the continent.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two countries in regional and international forums, reflecting the depth of their fraternal relations and the spirit of African solidarity.
