في إطار جهود وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي الرامية إلى تطوير بيئة العمل وتعزيز كفاءة الأداء الدبلوماسي، افتتح معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون الوزارة، صباح اليوم الاثنين الموافق 2026.07.20، المقر الجديد لإدارة الشؤون الأوروبية، وذلك بحضور السيد عبد الحكيم غيث، مدير إدارة الشؤون الإدارية والمالية، والسيد أبوبكر الطويل، مدير إدارة الشؤون الأوروبية، إلى جانب مديري الإدارات والمكاتب بديوان الوزارة.
وجرى تجهيز المقر الجديد وفق أحدث المعايير الإدارية والفنية، بما يوفر بيئة عمل عصرية تسهم في رفع كفاءة الأداء، وتعزيز جودة العمل المؤسسي، وتمكين إدارة الشؤون الأوروبية من الاضطلاع بمهامها بكفاءة وفاعلية.
ويأتي افتتاح المقر الجديد في إطار خطة الوزارة لتحديث مرافقها وتطوير بنيتها الإدارية، بما يدعم مسيرة العمل الدبلوماسي، ويسهم في تعزيز علاقات دولة ليبيا مع الدول الأوروبية والإتحاد الأوروبي ، وبما يحقق الأهداف الاستراتيجية للسياسة الخارجية الليبية.
As part of the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation aimed at developing the working environment and enhancing the efficiency of diplomatic performance, H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, inaugurated this morning, Monday, 20 July 2026, the new headquarters of the European Affairs Department, in the presence of Mr. Abdul Hakim Ghaith, Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, Mr. Abu Bakar Al-Tawail, Director of the European Affairs Department, as well as Directors of departments and offices at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The new premises have been equipped in accordance with the latest administrative and technical standards, providing a modern working environment that contributes to improving performance efficiency, enhancing the quality of institutional work, and enabling the European Affairs Department to carry out its duties effectively and efficiently.
The inauguration of the new headquarters comes within the framework of the Ministry’s plan to modernize its facilities and develop its administrative structure, in a manner that supports the progress of diplomatic work, contributes to strengthening Libya’s relations with European countries and the European Union, and serves the strategic objectives of Libya’s foreign policy.
