استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الخميس الموافق 9 يوليو 2026، سعادة سفير جمهورية الصين الشعبية لدى دولة ليبيا، السيد ما شيوي ليانغ، بحضور السيد الحسن محمد بن رابحة مدير إدارة شؤون آسيا وأستراليا.
شهد اللقاء بحث سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية وتطوير الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين البلدين، لا سيما في مجالات الاقتصاد والاستثمار والبنية التحتية والطاقة، إضافة إلى مناقشة فرص توسيع التعاون في مجالات التجارة، والتعليم، والصحة، والتكنولوجيا، وتشجيع الشركات الصينية على استئناف مشاريعها واستكشاف فرص استثمارية جديدة في ليبيا.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، مؤكدين أهمية تعزيز التنسيق والتشاور في المحافل الدولية، بما يسهم في دعم الأمن والاستقرار والتنمية.
من جانبه، أعرب سعادة السفير الصيني عن اعتزاز بلاده بعلاقاتها التاريخية مع ليبيا، مؤكدا التزام الصين بمواصلة تعزيز التعاون الثنائي ودعم جهود التنمية، بما يعكس متانة العلاقات والشراكة بين البلدين.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received today, Thursday, 9 July 2026, His Excellency Mr. Ma Xiuliang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Libya, in the presence of Mr. Al-Hassan Mohammed Bin Rabha, Director of the Department of Asian and Australian Affairs.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations and further advance the strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly in the fields of economy, investment, infrastructure, and energy. The two sides also discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in trade, education, healthcare, and technology, while encouraging Chinese companies to resume their projects and explore new investment opportunities in Libya.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of enhancing coordination and consultation in international forums in support of security, stability, and sustainable development.
For his part, H.E. Ambassador Ma Xiuliang expressed his country’s pride in its longstanding historical ties with Libya, reaffirming China’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and supporting Libya’s development efforts, reflecting the strength of the friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries.
