استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين الموافق 29 يونيو 2026، سعادة السيد سيدي يحيى لمرابط، سفير الجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية لدى دولة ليبيا، وذلك بحضور السيد نجيب الرياني، مدير إدارة الشؤون العربية، والسيد اسامة الجدي، رئيس قسم المغرب العربي بالإدارة.
وتناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الشقيقين في مختلف المجالات، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بمستوى التعاون المشترك ويخدم المصالح المتبادلة.
كما بحث الجانبان تشكيل لجنة فنية تتولى مراجعة الاتفاقيات الثنائية الموقعة بين البلدين، ووضع الآليات الكفيلة بتفعيلها بما يواكب تطلعات الشعبين الشقيقين.
كما اتفقا على مواصلة التنسيق عبر القنوات الدبلوماسية لاستكمال الترتيبات اللازمة لتحديد موعد ومكان انعقاد أعمال اللجنة العليا الليبية–الموريتانية المشتركة، بما يعزز أطر التعاون الثنائي ويفتح آفاقاً أوسع للشراكة بين البلدين.
واستعرض الجانبان كذلك أبرز القضايا الإقليمية والدولية الراهنة ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وتبادلا وجهات النظر بشأنها، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق حيال مختلف القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وفي ختام اللقاء، أكد الجانبان حرصهما على استمرار التشاور والتنسيق بما يعزز العلاقات الأخوية بين ليبيا والجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية، ويحقق المصالح المشتركة للشعبين الشقيقين.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received on Monday, 29 June 2026, His Excellency Mr. Sidi Yahya Lemrabet, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the State of Libya. The meeting was attended by Mr. Najeeb Al-Rayani, Director of the Arab Affairs Department, and Mr. Osama Al-Jadi, Head of the Maghreb Division.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries across various fields, with a view to enhancing joint cooperation and serving their mutual interests.
The two sides also discussed the establishment of a technical committee to review the bilateral agreements signed between the two countries and to develop the necessary mechanisms for their effective implementation, in line with the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
They also agreed to continue coordination through diplomatic channels to finalize the necessary arrangements for determining the date and venue of the meetings of the Joint Libyan–Mauritanian High Committee, with a view to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and opening broader prospects for partnership between the two countries.
The two sides also reviewed the latest regional and international issues of mutual interest and exchanged views thereon, reaffirming the importance of maintaining consultation and coordination on issues of common concern.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing consultation and coordination in a manner that further strengthens the fraternal relations between Libya and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and serves the common interests of the two brotherly peoples.
