استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاربعاء الموافق 24 يونيو 2026، معالي السيد جودت يلدريم، مستشار رئيس الجمهورية التركية، بحضور سعادة السيد غوفين بيغيتش، سفير الجمهورية التركية لدى دولة ليبيا، والوفد المرافق لهما.
في مستهل اللقاء، رحب معالي السيد الباعور بالوفد التركي، مشيداً بعمق العلاقات التاريخية وروابط الصداقة والتعاون التي تجمع دولة ليبيا والجمهورية التركية، وما تشهده هذه العلاقات من تطور ملحوظ في مختلف المجالات السياسية والاقتصادية والثقافية.
وتناول الجانبان سبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي وتوسيع آفاق الشراكة بين البلدين بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للشعبين الصديقين، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة التنسيق والتشاور إزاء القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما استعرض الطرفان التحضيرات الجارية لاستضافة دولة ليبيا للقمة الإفريقية – التركية المقبلة، وبحثا الجوانب التنظيمية والموضوعية المتعلقة بها، مؤكدين أهمية هذه القمة في تعزيز الشراكة الاستراتيجية بين تركيا والدول الإفريقية، ودعم التعاون في المجالات التنموية والاقتصادية والاستثمارية. واتفق الجانبان على تكثيف الجهود والتنسيق المشترك لضمان نجاح أعمال القمة وتحقيق الأهداف المرجوة منها.
وتطرق اللقاء إلى عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، حيث تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر بشأن التطورات الراهنة على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية، مؤكدين أهمية دعم الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار، وتسوية النزاعات بالطرق السلمية، بما يسهم في تحقيق الأمن والتنمية لشعوب المنطقة.
وفي ختام اللقاء، جدد الجانبان حرصهما على مواصلة تعزيز علاقات التعاون والتنسيق بين البلدين، بما يعكس عمق الشراكة الليبية التركية ويخدم المصالح المشتركة للبلدين الصديقين.
H.E. Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, H.E. Mr. Cevdet Yıldırım, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Türkiye, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Güven Begeç, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the State of Libya, and the accompanying delegation.
At the outset of the meeting, Mr. El-Baour welcomed the Turkish delegation, praising the deep-rooted historical ties and bonds of friendship and cooperation between the State of Libya and the Republic of Türkiye, as well as the notable progress achieved in bilateral relations across various political, economic, and cultural fields.
The two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand the horizons of partnership between the two countries in a manner that serves the mutual interests of their friendly peoples. They also emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation on issues of common concern.
The meeting further reviewed the ongoing preparations for Libya’s hosting of the upcoming Africa–Türkiye Summit. The two sides examined the organizational and substantive arrangements related to the Summit, underscoring its importance in strengthening the strategic partnership between Türkiye and African countries and promoting cooperation in the fields of development, economy, and investment. In this regard, both sides agreed to intensify joint efforts and coordination to ensure the success of the Summit and the achievement of its intended objectives.
The discussions also addressed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. The two sides exchanged views on current developments at both the regional and international levels, emphasizing the importance of supporting efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability and resolving conflicts through peaceful means, in a manner that contributes to achieving peace, security, and development for the peoples of the region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two countries, reflecting the depth of the Libyan–Turkish partnership and serving the shared interests of the two friendly nations.
