التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين 22 يونيو 2026، بمعالي السيد محيي الدين سالم أحمد إبراهيم، وزير خارجية جمهورية السودان، وذلك على هامش اجتماعات الدورة العادية الـ165 لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على المستوى الوزاري.
وتناول اللقاء العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الشقيقين وسبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق المشترك في مختلف المجالات، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة للشعبين الشقيقين.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وبحثا آخر المستجدات على الساحتين العربية والإقليمية، مؤكدين أهمية مواصلة التشاور والتنسيق بين البلدين بما يسهم في دعم الأمن والاستقرار وتعزيز العمل العربي المشترك.
وشدد الجانبان على عمق العلاقات الأخوية التي تجمع ليبيا والسودان، وحرصهما على تطويرها بما يحقق تطلعات البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Monday, 22 June 2026, with His Excellency Mr. Mohi El-Din Salem Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, on the sidelines of the 165th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination across various fields, in a manner that serves the shared interests of their peoples.
The two ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern and reviewed the latest developments on the Arab and regional arenas. They emphasized the importance of continuing consultation and coordination between the two countries in support of security, stability, and joint Arab action.
Both sides underscored the depth of the fraternal relations between Libya and Sudan and reaffirmed their commitment to further developing these ties in line with the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
