التقى معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الاثنين الموافق 2026.06.22، بمعالي وزير خارجية دولة الكويت، الشيخ جراح جابر الأحمد الصباح، وذلك على هامش أعمال الدورة العادية الـ(165) لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على مستوى وزراء الخارجية، المنعقدة في العاصمة الأردنية عمان.
جرى خلال اللقاء بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الشقيقين وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات، بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة ويعزز التعاون والتنسيق المشترك.
وجدد معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور تضامن دولة ليبيا مع دولة الكويت في مواجهة الاعتداءات التي تعرضت لها مؤكدا على عمق العلاقات الأخوية التي تربط البلدين الشقيقين.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر حول عدد من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وناقشا آخر التطورات في المنطقة، مؤكدين أهمية استمرار التشاور والتنسيق بين البلدين في إطار دعم العمل العربي المشترك وتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met today, Monday 22.6.2026, with His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah , on the sidelines of the 165th Ordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of Foreign Ministers, held in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields, in a manner that serves mutual interests and enhances cooperation and coordination.
H.E. Mr. El-Taher El-Baour reaffirmed the State of Libya’s solidarity with the State of Kuwait in the face of the attacks it has been subjected to, underscoring the depth of the fraternal relations and longstanding bonds that unite the two sisterly countries.
The two ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern and reviewed the latest developments in the region, emphasizing the importance of continued consultation and coordination between the two countries in support of joint Arab action and the promotion of security and stability.
