استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، اليوم الأحد الموافق 2026.06.14، العميد بحار فؤاد أحمد حنيش، الأمين التنفيذي لـقدرة إقليم شمال أفريقيا (NARC)، والوفد المرافق له. وبحضور السيد عبدالناصر صالح يونس، مدير إدارة الشؤون الأفريقية.
بحث الجانبان سبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق المشترك في المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك، بما يسهم في دعم الأمن والاستقرار وتعزيز قدرات دول الإقليم على مواجهة التحديات المختلفة.
كما تناول اللقاء الدور الذي تضطلع به القدرة الإقليمية في دعم جهود بناء القدرات وتطوير آليات العمل المشترك بين دول شمال أفريقيا، إلى جانب استعراض البرامج والمبادرات الرامية إلى تعزيز الجاهزية المؤسسية وتبادل الخبرات في مجالات إدارة الأزمات والاستجابة للتحديات الأمنية والإنسانية.
وأكد الباعور خلال الاجتماع حرص دولة ليبيا على دعم المبادرات الإقليمية التي تعزز التعاون والتكامل بين دول المنطقة، مشددا على أهمية توحيد الجهود لمواجهة التحديات المشتركة، وبناء شراكات فعالة تسهم في ترسيخ الاستقرار وتحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
من جانبه، استعرض الأمين التنفيذي لـقدرة إقليم شمال أفريقيا (NARC) أبرز أنشطة المنظمة وخططها المستقبلية.
وفي ختام اللقاء، أكد الطرفان أهمية استمرار التنسيق والتشاور، والعمل على تفعيل مجالات التعاون المتاحة بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.
His Excellency Mr. El-Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Commodore Fouad Ahmed Hanish, Executive Secretary of the North Africa Regional Capability (NARC), and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Mr. Abdulnasser Saleh Younes, Director of the African Affairs Department, on Sunday, 14 June 2026.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination in areas of mutual interest, with the aim of supporting security and stability and enhancing the capacity of countries across the region to address various challenges.
The meeting also addressed the role played by the regional capability in supporting capacity-building efforts and developing mechanisms for joint action among North African countries. In addition, the two sides reviewed programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing institutional preparedness and promoting the exchange of expertise in crisis management and responses to security and humanitarian challenges.
During the meeting, El-Baour reaffirmed Libya’s commitment to supporting regional initiatives that promote cooperation and integration among the countries of the region. He stressed the importance of uniting efforts to address common challenges and building effective partnerships that contribute to strengthening stability and achieving sustainable development.
For his part, the Executive Secretary of the North Africa Regional Capability (NARC) reviewed the organization’s key activities and future plans.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination and consultation and working to advance available areas of cooperation in a manner that serves mutual interests.
