استقبل معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور، المكلف بتسيير شؤون وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، صباح اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 09 يونيو 2026، سعادة السيد فرانسوا دومون، سفير مملكة بلجيكا المعتمد لدى ليبيا برفقة الملحق العسكري البلجيكي رودي وارينز.
حضر الاجتماع السيد أبوبكر الطويل مدير ادارة الشؤون الأوروبية والسيد مصطفى ابورخيص، رئيس قسم الغرب بالإدارة.
وجاء هذا اللقاء بمناسبة انتهاء عمله كسفير لمملكة بلجيكا لدي دولة ليبيا الذي سيغادر نهاية شهر يوليو القادم ، وعبر السفير البلجيكي عن شكره وامتنان وتقديره للسيد وزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي، على الدعم والمساندة التي قدمت له خلال فترة عمله كسفير لمملكة بلجيكا.
أكد السفير على تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية التي تجمع البلدين الصديقين، مشيرا الي الوفد الإقتصادي رفيع المستوي المرافق للسيد السفير والذي سيزور المنطقة الحره في مدينة مصراته يوم الاربعاء الموافق 10 يونيو 2026 لعقد عدد من الاجتماعات مع المسوؤلين بالمنطقة الحره.
من جانبه، أعرب معالي السيد الطاهر الباعور عن أطيب تمنياته لسعادة السفير بالتوفيق في مهامه القادمة، مع انتهاء فترة خدمته كسفير لمملكة بلجيكا لدى ليبيا، وشكره على جهوده المخلصة لتعزيز العلاقات بين البلدين.
His Excellency Mr. El- Taher El-Baour, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received this morning, Tuesday, June 9, 2026, His Excellency Mr. François Dumont, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Libya, accompanied by the Belgian Military Attaché, Rudy Warrens.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Abu Baker Al-Tawil, Director of the European Affairs Department, and Mr. Mustafa Aburkhis, Head of the Western Affairs Section within the department.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the ambassador’s completion of his diplomatic mission in Libya, as he is scheduled to depart at the end of July. The Belgian ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the support and assistance extended to him throughout his tenure as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Libya.
The ambassador reaffirmed the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries. He also referred to the high-level economic delegation accompanying him, which is scheduled to visit the Free Zone in the city of Misrata on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, to hold a number of meetings with officials of the Free Zone.
For his part, Mr. El-Taher El-Baour conveyed his best wishes to the ambassador for success in his future assignments upon the completion of his service as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Libya. He also thanked him for his sincere efforts in promoting and strengthening relations between the two countries.
